Angus is one of the most popular breeds in the beef producing world, and with good reason.
Red & Black Angus have the ability to pass on the “Three M’s” to their offspring, ensuring
the strength and longevity of the breed. Marbling, Muscling and Maternal Traits are three of
the most desirable characteristics in today’s cattle industry. The polled Angus trait is
inheritable when crossbred and is of particular interest to many commercial producers. An
Angus bull will add performance and desirable carcass traits to your herd, while maintaining
calving ease and high conversion rates. Lean and well-marbled meat with a high percentage cutability are the aims of today’s purebred Angus breeder. When these traits are passed on
to the commercial cowman and feedlot operator through the sale of bulls and replacement
females, all those involved end up winners.

year in my lifetime that I have seen Black x calves at 600 lbs
out sell Charolais x calves of the same weight. We know the
Angus business already as we run 200 Black Angus so the
expansion was a natural. This is the top 50% of the bulls, no
