The final payment will be due on November 1, 2003 when cash flow in farming is more readily available. The interest component will be floating prime. Give Elan a call, she will be happy to help you with your financing of a Soderglen Herdsire.
SEMEN TESTING

Veterinary Agri-Health Services and Davis-Rairdan will semen test the long yearling bulls in January. The yearlings will be tested in April.  If your yearling bull fails his semen test we will give you a bull of equal value to use free for the breeding season or we will give you your money back.
When we semen test our bulls we look at three things: scrotal circumferences, spermatozoa motility and morphology. During the collection of the semen, we also check the penis for any abnormalities. Actual scrotal measurements for the yearlings will be taken in February and provided to you on sale day. It is absolutely essential to watch your bull on the first few services to make sure successful breeding is happening.
SEMEN RIGHTS

Please note: Soderglen reserves the right to retain semen on any of the sale bulls at the buyer’s
convenience and at Soderglen’s expense.

Buyers receive semen rights proportional to the interest purchased. If you purchase 1/2 interest in a bull, you are entitled to 1/2 of the semen collected at cost, provided that you indicate a desire for semen prior to collection. In the event that semen is sold, the buyer will receive semen sales proportional to the interest purchased minus costs.
